MAQMAN

After joint outings on various Soul compilations with down- and mid tempo tracks, swiss-born Dj/Producer MAQman (pronounce Mack-man) soon focused on House Music. Released on Strictly Beatdown Recordings, his "Night Life" EP and its remixes was not only charted #1 for 4 weeks, but also had really good reviews on Spirit Of House, the number one House Music website. "We were instantly blown away by the beauty of the orchestration and vocals, this is pure soulful dance music made for eternity..." Furthermore, one of the song, "Corner", with Selina Campbell on vocals (Soul Heaven, Restless Soul Music, Soul Free Records), landed in the USA Dance Top 40.

It was inevitable that his musical path had to cross with Germany’s flagship Deep House label GOGO Music, run by renowned Dj/Producer Ralf GUM. With the help of UK vocalist Joseph Junior on vocals, the 1st Single release came up with a real deal in the form of “I Don’t See Love” a seductive and meaningful vocal tune, which scored the rare most wanted 10/10 mark on renowned House Magazine 5 "They may not hit the dancefloor as hard as other, purely electronic tracks, but they do stand head and shoulders above the rest". The release hit Traxsource Top Single chart at #3 and its Top 10 Soulful House Chart. #1 Spirit Of House charts for 4 weeks again and #1 on Solar Radio Soul Energy House charts (the Classic and 21st centurz soul station). "No Better Love" came in August 2012, with Ralf GUM himself on the remix duty. The track was charted #1 on Traxsource Soulful Essential of the Week and during 3 weeks #1 on Spirit of House. MAQman has also released two songs with Selina Campbell (Soul Candi Records, Room Control, Soul Heaven, Restless Soul Music…) one of the most famous UK label, Solid Ground Recording. He is now a monthly resident on the GOGO Music Radioshow, broadcasted by more than 50 FM- and internet-stations around the globe!
